Little Brooke is Danielle's first e-book that was published in 2013 by MeeGenius.com. It is beautifully illustrated by the talented Kevin Simpson. Danielle was inspired to write this story by her daughter who was 4 years old at the time. She came up with the rhyme of "bees on knees" and Danielle decided to go with it and write a story. The first draft was completed that same evening at her kitchen table. It's a story about a little girl who encounters many different animals who want to take her food. She ultimately learns a valuable lesson.

This story is based off of Danielle's own childhood memory of attempting to make popcorn with her brother Jason. They could not figure out why the scalding hot kernels kept popping out of the pot at them! They ultimately learned a valuable lesson.
